Light, zesty, and finally back on tap, Sticky Beak IPL has returned to The Club Hotel, ready to freshen up your winter pint lineup.
What’s an IPL? Think of it as the best of both worlds: the crisp finish of a lager paired with the bold hop flavour of an IPA. This brew features six different hops: Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, Simcoe, Amarillo and more, delivering bright citrus and tropical flavours like melon, papaya, lemon and lime.
With a clean malt backbone and a subtle hint of sulphur from the lager yeast, Sticky Beak is light-bodied, easy-drinking, and refreshing from start to finish. At 4.3% ABV and 24 IBU, it’s full of character but never heavy!
It’s also gluten reduced, brewed with a special enzyme that breaks down gluten proteins during fermentation. While Aussie labelling laws mean we can’t call it gluten free, the result is a brew that many gluten-sensitive drinkers, even a few coeliacs have said they can enjoy without issue. As always, anyone with sensitivities should check with their healthcare professional before trying it.
Only available on tap only at The Club Hotel Southern Cross, Sticky Beak is local, fresh, and pouring for $10 a pint all June! That’s right – award-winning, hop-forward craft beer at a classic price.
If you’re after something that’s easy on the gut and big on flavour, Sticky Beak just might be your next go-to. But don’t muck about, this brew won’t stay perched on tap forever.
